Please click here to find the explanatory video of Valtair

Valtair was designed by David Lyons and built in Australia in Melburn by APPLIED ALLOYS YACHTS in 1996.

You know that most seaman’s common opinion is that the Aluminium is the best material for building the vessel's hull because its strengths and endurance offers best as safety for her crew and lightness to provide best performance and speed and therefore economy and durability.

Valtair as Aluminium Hull Performance Cruiser is one of the best prove of these words above as she is the Winner of Sydney to Hobart yacht race ROLEX CUP – one of the toughest yacht Race in the World – with her previous owner Matt Allen in 2000 in performance Cruiser design category.

Present owner has bought her from Mr Allen in 2001 and Valtair was extensively refitted and refurbished in 2002 in Brisbane from the bare body to fresh rigging and sails.  It took nearly two years to re-commission her.

Considerable machinery has been added to this former racer / cruiser to reflect the owner’s cruising agenda including: generator, air condition unit, water-maker, Hydraulic furling boom, music and video entertainment centre and most of other creative luxury furniture and several navigational equipment.  Valtair has pair of Yanmar Diesel engines each 75 HP installed in 2008 and they are  yet only 850 running hours at December 2021 , Hydraulic retractable keel, sonar and bow thruster i.e.
